Sullivan, Kathleen M. STATESVILLE, N.C. Kathleen M. Sullivan, 100, Statesville, formerly of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation. Kathleen was born in Quebec on January 29, 1914, to the late Richard and Louisa Shepperdson. Kathleen moved from Quebec to Albany when she was eight years old. She worked for the State of New York and retired in 1976 after 30 years of service. Kathleen was on the Ancient Order of Hibernians - St. Patrick's Day Parade committee, and proudly marched as grand marshal in 1990. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Sullivan, Sr.; daughter, Kathleen Ganance (Herbert-deceased); son, John Sullivan; brothers, James, Frank, Richard, Robert, Patrick Shepperdson and sisters, Victoria Coen, Mary Sherman. She is survived by daughter, Mary Louisa (Andrew-deceased) Caplis of Mooresville, N.C.; son, Patrick J. Sullivan, Jr. (Patricia) of Loudonville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville, N.C. Kathleen's ashes will be interred with her husband at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont this Spring.
