ROWAN, Kathleen Esther (Kay) (nee Lee). B.A., R.N., (KGH). Peacefully at Starwood Nursing Home, Ottawa on Sunday, January 2, 2005, born Lavant Station, May 26, 1919. Daughter of the late John and Elsie Lee and wife of the late Russell G. Rowan. Mother of Ruth Crabb (Euan) of Montreal, Barbara Rowan of Montreal, Margaret Clowser (Sam) of Okotoks, Alberta and John (Karen) of Ottawa. Sister of Marion Myles of Markham, Barbara Baird and Evelyn Warburton both of Ottawa, the late Marguerite Cleaver. Grandmother of Susan, Karen, Joanne, Christine, Heather, Brianna, Shai and Mallory, and great-grandmother of three. Many thanks to those at Starwood for their loving care over the past five years. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Interment of Cremated Remains at Montreal Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to Extendicare Starwood would be appreciated.
