Kathleen-Elizabeth Lee, spouse of Lamar Lee, daughter of W. H and Clarice, mother of Peggy, Bill and Gary, died on February 3, 2011.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Mrs. Kathleen Elizabeth Lee, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. Bro. Randy Haynes and the Rev. Barry Benefield will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.Mrs. Lee was well loved by her late husband, children, grandchildren, sisters, family and all her friends. She was a member of Glencoe First Baptist Church. She retired from Alabama State Employment Service. Originally from Clarksville, Tenn., she spent her adult life in Gadsden and Glencoe. She will be greatly missed.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Lee; parents, W.H. and Clarice Albright; and brother, W.H. Albright Jr.She is survived by one daughter, Peggy (Dean) Probus; two sons, Bill (Marcia) Lee and Gary (Paula) Lee. She had four grandchildren, Zac (Karen) Probus, Beth (Mike) Bowers, Suzanne (Obie) Mozley and Jacob (Mandy) Probus; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Bishop, Montgomery, Margie (Hosea) Barrett, South Carolina, and Betty (Jake) Cordell, Tenn.Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Glencoe First Baptist Church building fund or bus fund.The family would like to express a special thanks to Lorrie, Missy and the entire staff of Amedisys Hospice and our wonderful church family for all the loving care.
