Kathleen E. Casey, 92, Springfield, died Friday, October 13, 2006, in Primrose Place. She was born August 1, 1914, in Corning, Arkansas, the daughter of Marcus and Nelle Yockum Jackson. She married Carl K. Casey on December 5, 1931. In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; four brothers, John, Mark, Ralph and Clifford Jackson; and a son-in-law, Ted Sullivan. She is survived by a son and his wife, Don and Shirley Casey, Springfield; a daughter, Connie Sullivan, Springfield; three siblings, Fern Thomure, Juanita Haught and Carl Jackson; four grandchildren, Jeff, Janna, Jay and David; and eight great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Dr. L. Godwin, the Primrose Place Staff and Community Hospices of America Staff. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006, in Ramsey Cemetery, Ramsey, Illinois, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. No formal visitation is planned, however friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospices of America or the charity of the donor's choice.
