CUSHING - Kathie Johnson, 68, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, surrounded by adored family and cherished friends at home. She is survived by her husband, Marc; daughters, Nicole and Kirsten; grandson, Sebastian; sister, Marjorie Van Name; brother, Thomas Daniel; nephews, Gregory and Timothy Van Name; niece, Lindy Richelo; and great-nieces, Amanda and Tara Richelo. A longtime resident of Chicago, she spent 35 summers in Maine, and became a full-time resident of Cushing in 2007. Those who knew her will remember her infectious good cheer, positive energy, indomitable spirit, fierce determination and loving nature. A memorial celebration will be scheduled in the near future.
