->CANTON -- Katherine Pauline Whittemore, 84, of Canton died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.She was born June 30, 1921, in North Conway, N.H., the daughter of Paul G. and Lula M. (Bennett) Whittemore. She was educated in the schools of Phillips and never married. Katherine enjoyed telling old stories about her family and friends, collecting old photos, sewing, and attending "old home days" in her home town of Phillips, where her family has much history.Survivors include a cousin, Robert Bennett of South China and extended family and friends at the Victorian Villa Rehabilitation and Living Center in Canton, where she had lived for the past 15 years.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 5, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Brownfield, with the Rev. John Tolman officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, 108 Court St., Farmington.`
