Katherine Marie Crowden JohnsonMoultonKatherine Johnson, 82, of Moulton left this walk of life to be with our Lord, May 24, 2011, with her kids and grandkids gathered around her bedside. She was born April 28, 1929, in Lawrence County to Marvin and Edna Letson Crowden. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and attending church. She was a member of Straight Gospel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Shirley Johnson; her parents, Marvin and Edna Crowden; brothers, Dennis and Junior Crowden; sisters, Gussie Hughes, Clezelle Terry and Janet Owens; grandson, Chris Johnson; son-in-law, Elijah Terry. Her funeral will be Friday, May 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Chapel with Neal Blaxton officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.Survivors are two daughters, Paulette Terry and Kathy Johnson, both of Moulton; three sons, Rickey Johnson (Sherrie), Ronnie Johnson, Donnie Johnson (Renae) all of Moulton; 12 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids and five great-great-grandkids. Pallbearers will be Keith Terry, Timmy Johnson, Josh Johnson, Justin Johnson, Donnie Wayne Johnson, Lee Johnson and David Terry.
