Mrs. Katherine Marie Young, 76, of Florence, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007.She was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of the Church of Christ at Macedonia.Visitation was Friday evening at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Church of Christ at Macedonia, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Officiating will be Norman Hargett and David Dowdy. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.Mrs. Young is survived by a son, James Young (Kathy); two daughters, Linda Kay Martin (Tom) and Sheila Shelton (David); two brothers, J.R. Balentine and Lowell Pierce; grandchildren, Jana and Jordan Young, Melvin and Bridget Allison and Emily Vasquez; great-grandchildren, Christina and Mary Grace Vasquez.Pallbearers will be elders and deacons of the church.Arrangements by Greenview Funeral Home.
