KATHERINE L. BAILEY HIGHLAND, IN Katherine L. Bailey, age 88 of Highland, IN passed away Friday, April 3, 2009. Survived by husband of 67 years, Yale; three daughters: Debra Bailey of East Chicago, Amy Bailey of Highland, Jacqueline Horsley of Highland; three sons: Harry (Bonnie) Bailey of Gary, Edward (Carolyn) Bailey of Gary, Yale (Judith) Bailey of Highland; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Benne Whitlinger of Chicago; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009, 12:00 Noon at St. Thomas More Church with Fr. Richard Holy officiating. At rest Mt. Mercy Cemetery in Gary. Friends may visit with the family on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN (corner of Main and Kennedy). Katherine was a longtime area resident, member of St. Thomas More Church. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
