Graveside services for Katherine Karol Austin Williams 91 will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday July 1 2005 at Hollywood Cemetery. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died Sunday June 26 2005 at Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born on November 21 1913 in Ellisville MS the daughter of the late John Christian and Anne Lillian Welborn Austin. She was the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a long time member of the Lellie Fletcher Class. She graduated from Mississippi State College for Women now Mississippi University for Women in 1935. After graduating from the "W" she was employed in Memphis as Secretary to the President of the National Cotton Council where she met Carl Trice. She taught at Lambuth University for 19 years. After retiring from Lambuth she worked at Farm and Garden Center owned by husband Carl Trice and his brother Harold "Pete" Williams. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John and Susan Williams of Murray KY; grandchildren Austin Williams of Knoxville TN Ben Williams and Carl Williams all of Murray KY. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband Carl Trice Williams in 2003. Pallbearers to serve are Austin Williams Ben Williams Carl Williams Jerry Roberts Richard Swaim and Bill Campbell. Honorary pallbearers to serve are Dr. Hyran Barefoot Dr. Russell Robbins Dr. Steve Hammond Dr. Jere Hammond Dr. Mark Hammond Dr. Allen Williams Rick Hammond James Roberts and George Roberts. Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church and Lambuth University. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. George A.
