MANCHESTER -- Katherine A. Forcier, 83, died Nov. 16, 2009. She was born in Tilton, March 17, 1926, the daughter of Waldo and Nellie (Streeter) Bailey. For many years, she worked as a switchboard operator for New England Telephone Co. She retired in 1952. Everywhere she went, she gathered hearts. Family members include her children, Kenneth Forcier of Penacook, Gregory Forcier of Florida, Cindy Audet of Goffstown; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland, in 1988. SERVICES: A calling hour is from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday in Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A funeral liturgy will follow in the funeral home at 4 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Park Cemetery, Tilton.
