PembrokeMrs. Katherine "Kitty" Finch Johnson, 69, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Candler Hospital in Savannah. Mrs. Johnson was a longtime resident of Pembroke and was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and shopping and was a fan of George Jones. Mrs. Johnson loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed crossword puzzles and taking care of her dog, Rusty. Mrs. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Bernice Finch; a brother, Albert Finch; and a sister, Rose Mary Brantley.Survivors include her beloved companion of 30 years, Eddie Cribbs of Pembroke; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy D. Ringhoffer of White, Karen J. and Michael "Moose" Oliver of Ellabell and Kelly and Les Delapenia of Rincon; two sisters, Alma Weathers of Savannah and Geraldine Sellers of Metter; grandchildren, Ashley, Ansley, Amber, Tyler and Andrew; and great-grandchildren Bryce, Rhett, Nate and Ellyanna. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke with Pastor Kerwin Kilgore officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
