Funeral services celebrating the life of Katherine Biot Fleming, 94, of Palm Coast, will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 4:00 pm in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5400 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, with Rev. Dr. Bradley Hauff officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Entombment will be on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Ocala, FL. Katherine Biot Fleming was born October 6, 1914 in Newark, NJ, the third child of Charles and Marietta Biot. Her sister Doris, two brothers and her husband, George G. Fleming preceded her in death. She leaves her loving daughter, LaVerne F. Guines and son-in-law, Jim Guines of Palm Coast; a step-granddaughter, Kimberley G. Blowe and her husband, Ervin; a step-grandson, Van I. Guines; three nieces, Gail McKinnon and her husband, Ovid, Marietta Bond and Lynn B. Gordon and her husband, Ken; two grand-nieces, Victoria Bond-Baughman and her husband, Drew, and Shari Gordon; and a grand nephew, Chaz Gordon. Kay is known for her loving spirit and her love of people, especially her extended family and numerous friends. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, and ECW. She enjoyed playing cards and pinochle. Kay will be missed by all who love her, but would ask you to rejoice that she had a wonderful life and is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
