Davis, Karl Frank KURE BEACH, N.C. Karl Frank Davis, 59, of Clementree Lane, Kure Beach, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Bladen County Hospital, Elizabethtown, N.C. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Baylies of the home; one son, Kyle Davis of Katy, Texas; one daughter, Heather Conley of Lakeland, Fla.; one brother, Dean Davis of Ravena, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Thalian Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made "in memory of Karl Davis," to the American Red Cross, Cape Fear Chapter, 1102 S. 16th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401 or to the Caroline Canines for Service, P.O.
