Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Karen Lorene Smith, age 64, of Sautee. Ms. Smith passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.Ms. Smith will be cremated with family holding private services.Born in Ridgeway, Pa. on April 12, 1947, Karen was the only child of Calvin Coolidge Piper and Arlene Dallenbach Piper. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
