Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 13, 2010, Karen Christine Kirk Miller of North Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Monday, May 17, 2010, at eleven o'clock, in Northbridge Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held in Greenville, South Carolina at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross Carolina Low Country Chapter, 8085 Rivers Avenue, Suite F, North Charleston, SC 29406. Karen was born on August 2, 1949 in Greenville, South Carolina, daughter of Wade C. Kirk and Mary Christine Tripp Kirk. She was a retired Librarian with the Greenville County Library. Karen was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and her infectious laugh. She persevered through many a trial, and maintained her zest for life. Surviving are her parents of North Charleston; her former husband, Eslie L. Miller, III of Saluda, NC; and a very dear friend, Donna Carol Jones of North Charleston.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen W. Kirk and Mark K. Kirk.Arrangements by J.
