DAVIS Karen Burkett Davis, 64 of Jacksonville, went to be with her Lord on October 4, 2011. Karen is preceded in death by her mother Irene McDonalds and grandmother; O. Poteet. She is survived by her sons; Michael Wayne Burkett, James Mark Burkett and Robert Matthew Burkett. Karen was employed by Gator City Taxi and Duval County School Board. Karen will be remembered for her love of family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl. 32205. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment is to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
