GOODWIN, KATHRYN E. age 75 went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 10, 2011 at home with her family by her side. Being a long time resident of Warrior, AL she was preceded in death by her father, Ossie Winnett, Sr. and mother, Audrey Winnett; brothers, William, Tommy, J.W. and Ossie Jr. Winnett. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Vernon Goodwin, Sr.; son, Jr. Goodwin and daughter-in-law, Tracy; their children, Adam Goodwin (Sarah), Matthew, Peyton, Maddison and Kamryn Goodwin; her daughter, Dyann Green and son-in-law Kenneth Green, their children, Jason Abel (Tiffany), Stephen Abel (Brandy) and her great-grandchildren Ty, Eli and Tatum; two brothers, James Lewis Winnett and Ronnie Winnett (Virginia); three sisters, Clovestine Bradford (Red), Mary Terry (Bob) and Nellie Niblett (Chick); 1 sister-in-law, Dorothy Ledlow (James) and all her host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts with a special thanks to her closest friend Olean Skinner. Funeral services will be held at Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with the final resting place at Watts Union Cemetery. Pastor Gayle Lombard, Sr. and Adam Goodwin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 13, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. >
