Kathleen W. Morrison, a longtime Yonkers resident, died peacefully at home on September 21, 2007, surrounded by family. She was 73. Kathleen worked as a corporate health nurse for Home Box Office in Manhattan. She previously worked at Tiffany and Co., Bowery Savings Bank and Fordham Preparatory School. She was a member of the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses. Kathleen was born on November 29, 1933 in New York City to Matthew and Winifred Ginty Winkle. She was educated in New York City and graduated from St. Claire's Hospital School of Nursing. Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from Saint Joseph's College in Standish, ME, and a Master's Degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. On June 22, 1957, she married Daniel W. Morrison, Jr. at the Church of St. Thomas More in Manhattan. While working and raising their children, she remained in Yonkers over the past 47 years. She was an active parishioner of the Church of the Annunciation in Crestwood, NY. Kathleen will be remembered for her warmth, humor, devotion to family, selflessness, strength and love of life. She is survived by her husband Daniel, her son Daniel W. Morrison, III and his wife Catherine of Westport, CT, her daughter K. Patricia Morrison of Westbury, NY, her son Matthew W. Morrison and his wife Nancy of Alexandria, VA, her son Neil R. Morrison and his wife Loretto of Westfield, NJ; and her eight grandchildren, Daniel, Ryan, Peter, Avery, Kelly, Matthew, Olivia and Aidan.
