Karen Beth Rogers, 62, of DeLand, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. A private family service is arranged through the Lohman Funeral Home Deltona. Karen, daughter of Clarence L. and Betty L. Rogers, was born December 1, 1949 and raised in Orlando, Florida. She graduated from Edgewater High School and Stetson University. She retired as Nursery Director for First Presbyterian Infant and Day Care of Orlando. Karen enjoyed volunteering her time for the past eight years at the Salvation Army in DeLand as a social worker. Karen had a giving heart and was loved by all she met. She will be greatly missed by her children, Robert F. Rogers, Ryan P.R. Rogers, R.E. Kalee Rogers, all of DeLand and Reagan S. Rogers of Bartow, Florida; brothers, Kurt (Blanche) Rogers, Bruce (Kathy) Rogers and Robert L. (Penny) Rogers; grandsons, Brandon Hunter, Skylor Rogers and Nalin Rogers; granddaughter, Jazmarie Rogers. She also has many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews to remember her always.
