Junior Lee Johnson, age 81, of Inglis, FL, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River, FL. He was born September 4, 1930, in Perry, FL, to Raleigh Lee and Vellar (Williams) Johnson. He came here eight years ago from Clearwater, FL. He was retired and enjoyed fishing with his son. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Inglis, FL, and a USAF veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Lee Johnson, in 1971, and he is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Juanita, of Inglis, FL; a son, David Lee Johnson (Berna) of Inglis, FL; three brothers, James, Luther and Raleigh Jr.; two sisters, Nellie and Rachel; two grandchildren, Lee Michael and Garrett Reed Johnson; and a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Lane Johnson. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Inglis, FL. Strickland Funeral Home with Crematory Crystal River, FL, assisted the family with arrangements.
