LEE _ June Jewell (nee Garrett) January 16, 1929 - July 1, 2002. Judy, a longtime resident of Point Grey passed away July 1st at Crescent Gardens where she moved to be closer to her family. She will be missed by her daughter Barb; son-in-law JJ; and her grandchildren, Kat and Ian. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Kay and Eileen. Her first passion was always music as a founding member of the B.C. Tel Choir and later on travelling the globe with Pat in pursuit of a certain short Spanish tenor, Jose Carreras. She spent a good deal of time fundraising for his Leukemia Foundation, and with this in mind, in lieu of flowers, we would appreciate your consideration of a donation to the Jose Carreras International Leukemia Foundation.
