June Davis, 83, of Elmer passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010. Born in Glassboro, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Leslie & Eva Denelsbeck. She was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Glassboro, serving as an Elder, Deacon and treasurer of the church. She retired from Pitman Manor after many years of service as the secretary of the dietary. June graduated from Glassboro High School class of 1944, love traveling with her friends and was a current member of the Williamstown Chapter #149 of the Eastern Star. Of all the things that she had accomplished during her lifetime, what she cherished the most out of life was the time she spent with her family especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Alan Davis and his wife Janet of Pittsgrove, Leslie Davis of Gibbstown, Robin Mulhall and her husband Kevin of Pitman, Edward Davis and his wife Julie of Clayton, James Davis and his wife Sherri of Pittsgrove and Wendy Meddings and her husband Cliff of Elmer, her grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Nicolette, Kevin, Patrick, Kyle, Jimmy, Kimberly, Nicholas and Kelly and her two great grandchildren, Aiden and Jasmine. Her husband Andrew and a sister, Virginia Griffith predeceased her. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
