HAINES CITY -- Miss Julie Ann Peterson died Saturday (May 14, 2005) in Haines City. The cause of death is pending further investigation. She was 22. Born in Lakeland on December 16, 1982, she was a lifelong resident of Polk County. Miss Peterson is survived by her father, Dwaine Peterson; mother Donna Thompson; stepmother, Shirley Peterson; stepfather, Johnny Thompson; sisters, Lisa Lynn Dyches and Melissa M. Suco; and brother, Matthew J. Smoot, all of Lakeland. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.
