ROBERTS, Julia Vernette Adkison, 72, of Tampa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 29, 2011. She was born Feb. 15, 1938 to John and La Merle Adkison in Arcadia. She was an Elementary School Teacher, an accomplished singer and ballroom dancer. Her warm caring spirit will be missed by all. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David Roberts; her daughters, Julia Belcher, Catherine Earnest, and Anne Wisniewski; her mother La Merle Keene Ellis; sisters, Lena Steinhoff and Jo Ann Loy; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Feb 12, 2011 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Arcadia, at 1 pm with Pastor Jim Wade officiating.
