Obituary of Julia May Campbell


CAMPBELL, Julia May (nee Moore) May passed away peacefully on January 30, 2016. She was born in New Westminster on May 2, 1924. She had lived in Winnipeg, California, Vancouver, Richmond, BC, and finally under the warmth and dedication of the staff of Kin Village in Tsawwassen, BC. May was predeceased by husbands Lou Bianchet and David Campbell, also by her brothers, Roy, Dempster, Michael and Earl Moore. She is survived by her sisters, Eileen Martin of Chilliwack, Phyllis Hunter of Winnipeg, brother Tom Moore of Washington, and by cousins, nieces and nephews. May worked in clerical positions for Singer Sewing Machine Company, Winnipeg City Hall and for 30 years with Zurich Insurance Company. She was an exceptional seamstress and gave generously of her time and beautiful work. Her warm, loving personality will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place.
