Julia Jackson age 68, Floral City, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 E. Norvell-Bryant Hwy, in Hernando, FL. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.Julia was born on January 11, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a merchandiser for CrossMark for 19 years. A loving daughter, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed her church fellowship at Good Shepherd Lutheran, serving in many ministries. Her cat "Pretty Baby" was her constant companion. Survivors include her parents Eddie and Darlene Jenkins, Floral City; sons Troy (Linda) Jackson, Midland City, AL, and Brad (Cathy) Jackson, Lugoff, S.C., her brother Joseph E. Jenkins, Floral City, and grandchildren James A. Doty, Chelsea Jackson, Jared Doty, Kayla Doty, Cadence Jackson and Parker Jackson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lane. The family requests donations to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 E. Norvell-Bryant Hwy, Hernando, FL 34442 in lieu of flowers.
