CLARK, Julia Helen Julia, late of Coronach, SK passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Julia was born on January 7, 1922 in Scobey, Montana (nearest hospital to the homestead in southern SK). She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 69 years, Roy Gordon Clark; parents Albert John Willford and Emma Jane Johnson; and sister Bertha Isabel Stevenson. Julia is survived by her brother Jim (Elaine) Willford; sister Faye (Keith) Dawson; sons Ralph (Heather) of Calgary, AB, Carl (Pattie) of Allan, SK, Cal of Regina, SK; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Julia walked 2 miles to get to school at Mountain Cedar and Berg Schools. Sometimes her grandfather Elmer Johnson would give her and her cousin Celia a ride to school in his buggy! Julia and Gordon farmed at Clark Bridge, SK (near Willow Bunch, SK) until 1959. They and the 3 boys moved to Regina. The home in Regina was home to many guests and relatives over the 45 years there. Julia was a wonderful cook; her apple pies and buns were the best. In 2005 Julia and Gordon moved back to Coronach to a seniors residence for their last few years. Special thanks to the staff of Coronach Health Centre for their care and compassion. Also, a special thanks to Bernice Foley and Doris Taylor for looking after our mother this last year.
