Obituary of Julia-G. Flanagan


Julia G. Flanagan, 94, Billings, Mo., passed away Sunday morning, December 31, 2006, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor, Marionville, Mo. She was born May 3, 1912, in Monroe, Wisconsin, to August and Marie Budde. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Billings; a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women, St. John's Auxiliary, and a past volunteer at Mercy Villa in Springfield, Mo. Her parents, August and Marie Budde, her brother, Raymond Budde, and her husbands, Raymond Rufer and Raymond Flanagan, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Dorothy and Gordon LaBounty, Highland, Indiana, Budde and Karen Rufer, Micco, Fla., Donald and Faith Rufer, Beloit, Wisconsin, and Roger and Marge Rufer, Billings, with whom she made her home; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Billings, with Father Bobby Manso officiating, under direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Billings. The casket will be closed at all times. Graveside services and burial will be in Tabor Cemetery, Beloit, Wisc., with date to be announced later. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, with visitation to follow in Meadors Funeral Home, Billings. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Billings, for St. Vincent DePaul Society.
