SMITH, Judy On January 30, 2008 Judy Smith of Sherwood Park passed away at the age of 63 from cancer. Born in England in 1945, Judy came to Canada in 1956 and was married in 1966. She is survived by her husband Doug and two sons Collin and Frazer, a brother Don Harfield, and her mother Helga Harfield. Judy will be remembered by numerous relatives and friends. Judy's immediate family would like to express their gratitude for the tremendous support received in the last stages of her life from family, friends, and the staff of St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital. Among other things, Judy was active in breeding and showing poodles, pet therapy, gardening, and volunteer work with her daughter-in-law Suzanne. Those who wish to visit with the family and pay their last respects can do so at Park Place Funeral Home in Sherwood Park on Sunday, February 3 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Cremation will have already taken place. A private memorial service will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta are gratefully appreciated.
