Athens - Mrs. Judy Anne Phillips Jones of 535 Snapfinger Drive, Athens, Ga., died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, Ga.Mrs. Jones was born in Royston, Ga., June 15, 1952, daughter of Annie Ruth Fowler Phillips of Carnesville, Ga., and the late C.L. Phillips. She was a homemaker and fiber artist.Survivors, in addition to her mother, include husband, Mike Jones of Athens, Ga.; and brother, Chris Phillips of Toccoa, Ga.She was preceded in death by one son, Edward Michael Jones.Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2010, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady Jordan and Rev. Orlando Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Middle River Baptist Church Cemetery.The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, Ga., where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Thursday evening.
