Obituary of Judith Brown


Beech Bluff, TN - Funeral services for Judith Brown, age 75, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday November 20, 2010 at Beech Bluff United Methodist Church with Rev. Hiram Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens with Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral home in charge.Mrs. Brown died November 18, 2010 at Regional Hospital in Jackson.She was born in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, TN, daughter of the late Warren Ansel and Gertrude Phillips Ross and was educated in the county schools graduating from Chester County High School. Mrs. Brown was a retired employee of Jackson Energy Authority. She was a member of Beech Bluff United Methodist Church.Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Grady H. Brown in 1994 and two brothers, Richard Ross and Tony Ross.She leaves three sons, Thomas L. Brown and wife, Robin of Hillsboro, NC, James A. Brown and wife, Betty of Eads, TN and John E. Brown of Beech Bluff, TN; a daughter, Catherine A. Gentry and husband, Charles of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Carol Turner and husband, Tom of Three Way, TN.Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
