Judith 'Judy' Beck, 58, of E. Nemadji Loop Rd. died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, from complications due to A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's Disease), surrounded by her family. Judy was born in Duluth on Nov. 15, 1946 to Eugene M. and Dorothy (Olson) Bouchard. She was a 1964 graduate from East High School and married Bill Beck on Aug. 7, 1965 at St. Michael's Church and they moved to Superior in 1980. Judy was a former member of St. Michael's Church and she loved to craft, rose mauling, quilting, collect cats, but most of all spending time with her family and her children. Judy had a contagious laugh and everyone she met became her friend. Judy is survived by her husband, Bill; her son, Bill (Belinda); and her daughter, Tricia (Scott) Swanson all of Superior; her mother, Dorothy Bouchard of Duluth; her sister, Debbie 'Seester' (Roy) Bulloch of Superior and many grandcats. VISITATION:5 to 7p.m. Friday in the Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, where the visitation will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. to the 11 a.m. services. The family request in lieu of flowers memorials to A.L.S. Association. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd St. Duluth. (218) 727-3555.
