->MADAWASKA - Juanita Raymond, 94, passed away on September 14, 2014 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Frenchville on April 16, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph and Maisee (Collin) Collin.Jeanne devoted her life to her children and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a graceful woman with a mild temperament, who was soft spoken and never argued. She was a communicant of St. Luce Church and St. Thomas Church for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella of Madawaska, as well as the Ladies of St. Anne of Frenchville.She is survived by two daughters, Judy Kurowski of Chicago, IL, Margo Prentice and her husband, Norman of Edmundston; five sons, Robert Raymond and his wife, Linda of Fort Kent, Philip Raymond and his wife, Doreen of Gainesville, VA, Jean Paul Raymond and his wife, Christine "Chris" of Leicester, MA, Richard Raymond and his wife, Linda of New Canada, Guy Raymond and his wife, Nancy of Wallagrass; twenty three grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Rivera of Sun City West, AZ; one brother, Bertrand Collin and his wife, Darla of southern Maine; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fernand Raymond in 1956; six brothers.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 16 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and from 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday before the service.
