TUSCALOOSA Juanita Jean Hicks Williams, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, died September 7, 2013, at Hallmark Manor. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, at Taylorville Baptist Church with Dr. Curtis Kelley, Rev. Billy Gray, and Rev Justin Nelson officiating. A private burial will be held at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor C. and Annie G. Hicks; husband, Sanford Williams Sr.; sons, Richard and Jimmy Williams; one brother; and three sisters.Survivors include her daughters, Becky Coger (Larry) of Columbus, Ga., and Susan Seymour (Chris) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sons, John David Williams (Pat) of Duncanville, Ala., and Tommy Williams (Delaine) of Fosters, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Sue S. Williams of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; brother, Dr. Herbert Hicks of Baton Rouge, La.; 12 grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was born on July 28, 1923, and graduated from Greene County High School. She attended and graduated from Business School in Montgomery, Ala.Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Allen Archibald, Tom Williams, Scott Coger, Cole Williams, Richard Coger, Walter Williams, Wesley Williams, Austin Rasco, and great-grandsons, Luke Moore, Reid Ryan, and Jackson Ryan. Honorary pallbearers are Taylorville Baptist Church Family, Liberty Baptist Church Family of Duncanville, Ala., friends and staff of Capstone Village and Hallmark Manor, friends and neighbors of Taylorville Community, special friends, Mrs. Minnie Hamilton and Mrs. Elaine Faller.
