Obituary of Juanita Anderson-Williams


Juanita Anderson-Williams, 58, died March 14, 2008, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce. She held several positions in the social service profession. She was employed with One stop Career Center and The Treasure Coast as a career developer. She attended the local schools in St. Lucie County and completed her Bachelor's in Liberal Studies and Master's in Science from Barry University. She was a member of the Foundation Revival Center in Fort Pierce. Survivors include her son, Fred Derrick Thompson of Bear, Del.; step-son, Tyrell Williams; brothers, Robert Lee Anderson of West Palm Beach, Arthur Lee Anderson of Fort Pierce, Albert Anderson of Vero Beach, Allen Anderson and John Anderson, both of Chicago; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Williams; parents, Daniel C. and Ida Mae Anderson; and brother, Sammy Anderson. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7p.m. March 21 at The Foundation Revival Center,110 North 29th Street, Fort Pierce, and 9 to 11 a.m. March 22 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be at 12 p.m. March 22 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church, with the Pastor Mary Ann Carroll officiating. A burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
