Family-Placed ObituaryROBERT DOUGLAS ANDERSON, Jr. Age 71, of Lake Clarke Shores, FL, passed away January 7, 2011, after a long and valiant fight with cancer. Born in Springfield, PA, he lived awhile in New Jersey, and grew up in Cocoa, Florida. At age 16, he had his own radio show; he was captain of his high school football team and won a scholarship to college. Bob served as Captain in the Green Berets, training soldiers in the jungles of Panama . He had a successful career with IBM, participated in the first IBM computer and traveled the world; then became a manufacturing consultant in the computer field. He is survived by his wife, Paulette; daughter Melissa and her husband James Kieffer, their son Ethan; son Burton and daughter-in-law Dara Roberson, Aubrey and Hannah Anderson; son Richard, his wife Sandy and their two sons Spencer and Shawn; sister Joan and her husband E.C. Mundine; and sister Marilyn Anderson. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 17, at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 4500 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob's name to St. Juliana Catholic School, 4355 S. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach, FL.
