Mrs. Joyce (Collins) Wilson, age 78, of Allen Circle, Oakwood passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Wilson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the funeral home. Mrs. Wilson was born in Hall County to the late Zenos R. Collins and Angie (Chamble) Collins. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James R. Wilson; brother, Bunyun Collins; and a sister, Dot Morris. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Susan Wilson, Gainesville and Wayne and Sheilda Wilson, Buford; daughter, Vickie Taylor, Oakwood; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Collins, Oakwood; sisters, Pat Bagley, Oakwood, Geneva Godfrey, Alabama and Betty Hanes, Oakwood.
