A memorial service was held at Northside Church of Christ, St. Petersburg, Fla., on Jan. 10 for Joyce Taylor Moore, 55, who passed away Jan. 5 after a brief illness. Joyce was born in Pensacola, Fla., to the late Jessie and Bertie Martin Taylor. She was a 1974 graduate of Emma Sansom High School and worked for many years in Jacks Kwikee in East Gadsden. Joyce was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Moore.She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mitchell Moore, and children, Rachel and Kevin Moore, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.; brothers, Jess (Felicia), Phillip (Scarlett) and Paul Taylor; and sister, Gola Taylor, Gadsden; mother-in-law, Doris Moore; brothers-in-law, Mark and Joel (Vicki) Moore; several nieces and nephews.Donations may be made in her memory to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
