LANCASTER – Mrs. Joyce Wright Roberts, 65, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C.  She was born Oct. 20, 1948, in Great Falls, S.C., the daughter of the late P.A. Wright and Lucille Lucas Wright. She was the wife of Roy E. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts was of the Baptist faith and loved her many friends and family.Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Roy E. Roberts of the home; two sons, Thomas Lawrence Caskey Jr. and his wife, Valarie, and Richard Eugene Caskey and his fiancee, Sandy; a daughter, Susie Caskey Small and her husband, Phil, all of Lancaster; two brothers, Wesley Wright and his wife, Sharon, and David Wright and his wife, Mary, of Great Falls; a sister, Peggy Lowery of Garden City, S.C.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Caskey.The celebration of life memorial service for Mrs. Roberts will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by the Rev. Gerald Eaves.
