HAMILTON - Joyce Pauline Cox, "G.J.," 61, of Hamilton Township, entered into God's care Monday, July 23, 2012, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton after a yearlong battle with cancer.Born in New Brunswick, she had resided in Hamilton Township most of her life. "G.J.," as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, was a loving woman who adored, and in return, was adored by her family. She was an avid gardener and celebrated the good times with food, friends and laughter around the dinner table or in her back yard. Besides her loving family, her pets brought her great happiness. In her spare time she enjoyed black and white movies on lazy Sunday mornings, and strolls on the beach collecting treasures along the way. Anyone that knew Joyce, also knew how she loved to spoil her grandchildren; we will all miss her beautiful smile.Predeceased by her parents, William and Josephine (Sulewski) Meseroll, her sister, Joann Page, and her husband Douglas T. Cox, she is survived by her loving daughter, Vanessa Yajcaji; her cherished grandchildren, Jade and Brooke Donaldson, and Michael Dentini III; her sisters, whom she was fortunate to have grown up with and for their unending love and support, Janet Venceller, Joan Salvatore and Jane Myslinski; a special nephew, Justin Myslinski; her godchild, Melissa McConnell; also surviving are many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday (July 28) at D'Errico Whitehorse Mercerville Chapel, LLC, 2365 Whitehorse Mercerville Road, Hamilton, located in the Brenna-Cellini facility. Clergy from the area will officiate. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Mausoleum in Hamilton.
