Joyce Eileen Chadbourn Miller, 89, beloved wife of William S. Miller of Taylors, S.C., died peacefully at her home Sunday morning, October 18, 2009 and is now with her precious Lord and Savior. Born in Mankato, Minnesota to Roy and Stella Chadbourn on August 17, 1920, Joyce was the oldest of five children. She attended Northwestern Bible School, graduated from Winona State Teachers College, and Bethel College in Indiana. In addition to her husband, she is survived by siblings: Irene Laube (Roger), Russell Chadbourn (Gloria), and Patricia Joyce (William); children: Pat LeMaster (Vern), Marilyn Slough (Jack), Mike Miller, Vickie Langton (Jim), Bob Miller, Ron Miller (Lisa), and Nancy Stalsworth (Alan); 25 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Margaret Brunsell (John). She was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church, 614 Ikes Road, Taylors, where a memorial service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church missionary program.Cremation Society of South Carolina
