She was born in Pensacola, FL and lived all her life in the Muscogee area. She worked at Azalea Trace Retirement Community for 11 years and was loved by many there. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her life devoted to the happiness of her family.Joyce is preceded in death by her mother Geraldine Carlisle.She is survived by her husband, Larry Goodwin; Daughter, Kim Lovitt (Clint), Brett, Glory, July and Levi; Daughter, Amy Williams (Jason), Bailey; her son, Matthew Goodwin (Racheal), Arwyn, Dallas and Father, James Carlisle.
