Joyce L. Hughes GAFFNEY, SC-- Joyce Lorena Hughes, 83, of Gaffney, formerly of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Peachtree Centre, Gaffney, SC. Born April 23, 1926 in Pacolet, she was the daughter of the late Edward Milton and Annie Halford Hughes. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Pacolet. Survivors include a sister, Sarah Sanders of Gaffney and a large number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Angelia P. Price. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
