KITTERY, Maine — Joyce A. Jackson, 72, of Dana Avenue, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, following a period of failing health. She was born April 29, 1938, in Caribou, the daughter of William and Ruby (Smith) Ayotte. Joyce was a longtime supervisor at Erie Scientific. Members of the family include her son, Kenneth Jackson of Kittery; a sister, Ruth Plourde also of Kittery; a brother, Bill Ayotte; five grandchildren including Matthew Golter and his wife, Bridget, of Kittery, and three great-grandchildren. Joyce was predeceased by a son, Steven Jackson and a daughter, Linda Yuva. Friends are invited to join the family for a funeral service Friday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. at the J.S. Pelkey Funeral Home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, Maine. Burial will be in the spring in Brooks Memorial Park, Eliot.
