MASSEY--Joyce (Jody) Bousley, 82. Raised in Ipswich, MA on a simple homestead with well, bucket and outhouse. High School valedictorian, Smith College class of 1947, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Masters degrees from Columbia and Brooklyn College, Ph.D. candidate in English literature. Deferred academic career to attend to special needs child. Raised family of five in Brooklyn. Beloved, and highly esteemed for her pure soul, sterling character, selflessness, giving nature, and intellect. Mourned by husband David; children Sydney (Chris), Joshua, Joseph, Carla and Jonathan; grandsons Mateo and Jonah; and many nieces and nephews.
