She was born in Portsmouth, OH in 1935 to Martin and Mildred Collier. Joyce married Ted in 1965. She lived in Hilliard, OH for many years before moving to Cape Coral in 1977. She was a long time hair dresser and a member of New Hope Baptist Fellowship in Cape Coral. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband in 1997 and her brother Bill Collier in 1993. Survivors include her sons Eddie (Geri) and Rick Roberts, daughter Robin (Jim) Smith, brothers Martin, Fred and Harry Collier, sisters Ruth Baker, Alice Jones, Helen Self and Marilyn Sater, three grandchildren; Tara Roberts and Jacob and Riley Smith along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday August 23, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Fellowship, 431 Nicholas Parkway East, Cape Coral.
