Decatur<!--Decatur-->Funeral for Joy Louise Hall, 79, of Decatur will be Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Don Hass and the Rev. Milt Glor officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.Mrs. Hall, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Riverside Assisted Living, was born May 10, 1928 in Norman, Okla. to Lloyd Wilson and Isabelle Ruth Harris Harmon. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church; where she served as a member and former president of Presbyterian Women’s Circle. Mrs. Hall was an avid sailor and former member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was a founding member of the Eagle Rock Cruising Club, a Girl Scout leader, and a long time volunteer at Decatur General Hospital and CCC. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, E.C. Hall; one son, Steven Hall of Decatur; two daughters, Leslee Schultz of Greenville, S.C., and Elizabeth Borgia and husband, Tom, of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one sister, Nancy Jones and husband, Millard, of Seattle; six grandchildren, Steven Hall Jr., John Adam Hall, Karen Schultz, Mindy Rock and husband, Brian, Michael Borgia, and Matthew Borgia; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
