MACKENZIE _ Joy-Anne October 8, 1942 - July 25, 2006. Joy-Anne, loving mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully in her home. Mom will always be remembered for raising and keeping her 4 children together. Mom loved the beautiful things in life and never shyed away from any challenges. Joy-Anne is predeceased by her father Gordon Mackenzie, mother Anna Dekroon and her brother Ken Mackenzie. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her sister Edith and brother Peter; 4 children Gordon (Carolyn), Richard (Danielle), Selena (Paul) and Kevin; grandchildren Sarah-Anne, Adam, William, Lucas, Alexandria, Rebecca, Cameron, Natasha, Samantha and Ashton. Mom had many close friends and second family loves who all cared and respected her deeply. Mom is forever in our hearts and will always be remembered for the tennis games and swims at the tennis club, the outings to the beaches and friends homes. The little things and all the family get togethers. God Bless our mother. A royal sendoff will be held at the V.L.T.B.C. on W. 16th in Vancouver, B.C. Sunday, August 20, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. A small gathering for family and close friends after mom's service will be held at Richards home in Richmond, B.C. Any flowers or notes can be brought to the service at the Club on Sunday, August 20th, 2006.
