The service will be at 2 p.m. CST Sunday at Salem Free Will Baptist Church in Alford, with burial at the church cemetery. Survivors include three sons, Jerry Mitchell (and wife Debbie) of Groveland, Larry Mitchell (and wife Becky) of Dellwood and Steve Mitchell (and wife Vivian) of Marianna; four daughters, Phyllis M. Everett (and husband Jimmy) of Vernon, Beverly A. Mitchell of Marianna, Annette M. Shuemake (and husband James) of Marianna and Edna M. Hall (and husband Scott Whitehead) of Havana; three stepdaughters, Lena Ross and Bel Waller, both of Marianna, and Eunice Barnes (and husband Wilburn) of Columbus, Ga.; a brother, R.A. Griffin of Alford; three sisters, Price Lipford of Marianna and Arthie Bauldree and Dorothy Ethridge, both of Alford; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie W. Mitchell; a brother, Frank Griffin; a sister, Julie Adams; a stepdaughter, Daisy Hill; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Mitchell.
